2026 Summer Pirate Travel Baseball Tryouts (7-10 years old)

We are rescheduling the Summer Pirates tryouts for Saturday, May 9th from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Lyon Park.

We will have a registration table set up near the concession stand. Players may arrive at either 9:00 AM or 11:00 AM and should plan to attend one of those time blocks.

Please try to attend either before or after your scheduled PCYBL game.

This tryout is open to any PCYBL player ages 7–10 who is interested in playing at the 8U–10U level.

2026 Summer Pirates Travel Tryouts will be held Sunday, April 19 at Lyon Park for baseball ages 7–10.

The Port Chester Youth Baseball League (PCYBL) will offer Summer Pirates travel teams for these age groups. (Teams for ages 11–12 are already set; no tryouts for that group.)

Registration is required prior to tryouts

Tryout Schedule:

8U (includes baseball age 7 players)
Arrive to register and warm up 9:00 AM | Eval 9:30–10:30
9U
Arrive to register and warm up 10:00 AM | Eval 10:30–11:30
10U
Arrive to register and warm up 11:00 AM | Eval 11:30–12:30

Age Cutoffs:

8U: Born after 4/30/2016
9U: Born after 4/30/2015
10U: Born after 4/30/2014

Season Info:

Tournament in New Jersey: July 11–12
Program Cost: $400

*** Note the Pirates baseball registration fee will only be applicable after tryouts, once players are awarded spots on the Pirates team.
